music, was formed in
2004
devoted to the
nurturance of
auditory lifeforms and the furtherance of new musical languages, extinction offers a broad array of
creative work by composers immersed in 21st century music.
for its inaugural recordings, extinction presents two releases,
the first--a deluxe double cd featuring over two and a quarter hours of diverse music by
composer aydin esen.
release 2 offers aydin's
further explorations for large and small ensemble, string orchestra,
live electronics and piano.
all recordings have
been
prepared in high-end stereo in close collaboration with the composer
and offer a wide range of music, the fruit of some two decades of
intensive labor and creation.
